1. Who We Are

This website supports the book and ministry message of Are You Fasting or Just Not Eating? by Dr. Gary L. Cordon, Sr., with Dr. Chris B. Cordon. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the ministry team responsible for fastingorjustnoteating.com.

2. Information We May Collect

Information you provide

• Email subscriptions: your email address and any subscription preferences or consent information when you request ministry updates.
• Contact and church-order requests: your name, email address, telephone number if provided, church or organization, requested quantity, seminar interest, and the contents of your message.
• Purchases and orders: contact, billing, shipping, product, transaction, and order-support information when purchasing through an enabled store or checkout.
• Accounts and comments: account information, comments, name, email address, IP address, browser information, and profile-image service data when those features are used.
• Other information: anything you voluntarily provide when communicating with us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, the site and its service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, dates and times of visits, and security or diagnostic logs.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• provide the website, book information, ministry resources, and requested services;
• respond to questions, church-order inquiries, seminar requests, and support needs;
• process and maintain purchases, payments, shipping, refunds, and transaction records;
• send requested email updates and ministry communications;

Completing a contact or order form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing email unless you separately request or consent to those communications.

4. Email Communications

The website may use Hostinger Reach or another authorized email service to receive and manage email subscriptions. When email subscription service is activated, the provider may process your email address and related subscription information on our behalf.

You may unsubscribe from marketing messages by using the unsubscribe link included in an email or by contacting us. Administrative messages concerning an order, inquiry, or requested service may still be sent when necessary.

5. Purchases and Payment Processing

The website uses WordPress and may use WooCommerce and related payment services for store, cart, checkout, and order functions. When checkout is enabled, information needed to complete a transaction may be shared with payment, fraud-prevention, shipping, hosting, and order-support providers.

Full payment-card numbers are generally entered directly into and processed by the applicable payment provider. We may receive limited transaction details such as payment status, transaction reference, billing information, and the amount paid. Each payment provider handles information under its own privacy terms.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files placed on a device to support website functions. The website may use:

• Essential cookies for WordPress administration, security, account sessions, and basic site operation;
• WooCommerce cookies that remember cart contents and maintain a customer session;

An anonymized value created from an email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to determine whether a profile image is associated with that address.

If users are permitted to upload images, they should avoid images containing embedded location data because website visitors may be able to download and extract that information.

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with trusted providers that help operate the website and ministry services, including:

• Hostinger for website hosting and, when activated, email-subscription services;
• WordPress, WooCommerce, Automattic, and related store or security services;
• payment processors, financial institutions, fraud-prevention providers, and shipping services;
• Google services used for tags, analytics, search performance, or site measurement;
• email-delivery, form, spam-prevention, backup, and technical-support providers;
• professional advisers when necessary; and
• government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell or rent personal information for money. Information is not shared with third parties for their independent marketing unless you have authorized it.

9. Third-Party Websites

The website may link to Amazon, Facebook, churches, ministries, social networks, payment providers, or other third-party websites. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review their policies before providing information.

10. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide requested services, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet accounting, tax, legal, or ministry-record obligations.

• Subscription information may be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to limited suppression records used to honor an opt-out.
• Contact and inquiry records may be retained for a reasonable follow-up and ministry-administration period.
• Order and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, contractual, and legal purposes.
• Comments and related metadata may be retained to recognize and approve follow-up comments and maintain discussion history.

11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including the ability to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about certain disclosures. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.
